to step through the books (old)

am to 14:00 c ' is a sunny, spring seems to arrive. We are located in St. Peter, the walk was not long, but still we sit in the colonnade of Bernini, right. The square is not yet crowded. A trip with the primary emphasis of Campania around us, we move to let them sit all neighbors.
Let the other side of the colonnade that is increasingly popular. Elisa and I will find the entrance to an exhibition on Vatican Library. Both me and you belong to that category of person capable of spending hours in a library, then we get to see it .. at a waiting room full of reproductions of old books, the code B, De arte venandi cum avibus, an illustrated book of botany, more than a dozen books to browse.
Then the fun begins visit, the history of the library afiianca the history of printing and the book, there are some papyrus, hand-copied sacred texts, early printed books (incunabula), miniature carvings, a small room for prints and one for coins. On the way we find the Bible, the Talmud, the Koran, a first edition of Don Quixote, the Arabian Nights, pictures of Divine Comedy, first editions of classic books in Italian some handwritten notes, and of course books on astronomy, including one of Galileo it stands ..
books end and then we move on to the mountain and antique engravings.
times are dictated by the driving force that the passage from one room and another trope leaving little time to look at books and pictures ..
visit lasts an hour or so low, but it's really interesting.
Can we met the sun, oh yes its a nice afternoon ...
